Castor, Alberta, Gus Wetter School is a vibrant
and modern school with approximately 225
students in grades K-12.
This teaching assignment will include grade 9 –
12 Science, Biology, and Chemistry. The
position will commence August 30, 2023 at the
beginning of the 2023-24 school year and it is
anticipated to end at the end of the 2023-24
school year. The ability to teach mathematics is
an asset.
The successful applicant will be a highly
organized, student focused teacher who works
well in a collaborative team oriented
environment and focuses on building
professional and effective relationships with
students. Experience using a wide variety of
technology tools in a learning setting, effective
classroom management, ability to communicate
with students and parents, and ability to
establish high expectations for student learning
are valuable skills.
Successful candidates will be required to
provide a current Criminal Record Check with
Vulnerable Sector prior to employment
commencing. Candidates selected for an
interview will be required to supply three
references that have agreed to be contacted at
